I have created Painting Courses in the South of France, normally running during May.
This is a stunningly beautiful part of the country, only 20 minutes to the Mediterranean and 10 to the Canal du Midi. The landscape is dotted with picturesque stone villages and there is a wonderful clear Mediterranean light that glows and creates shadows, which add to the sculptural quality of the scene.
Apart from painting outside in the warmth of the southern sunshine, I also have a large studio available for finishing off work in progress. These courses will not only be creative but also a great pleasure for those who enjoy the French experience.
The intention is that you arrive on the Monday when I will make sure you are happy and relaxed and informed about the following 5 days' work. Tuesday to Saturday inclusive we will explore, as artists, the local scenery. On Sunday morning we will have an assessment of our week's work and then go to a favourite restaurant of ours in a medieval farm in the mountains of Minerve. After this we will sadly say our goodbyes.
